Jean-Sébastien Roy appointed Concertmaster of McGill Chamber Orchestra


The McGill Chamber Orchestra is one of Canada’s most established chamber orchestras. It was founded in 1939 by Artistic Director Alexander Brott and his wife, Lotte Brott. The orchestra was quickly recognized as an ensemble of international standing.

Jean-Sébastien Roy is guest concertmaster for the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra during the fall 2011. He will also appear as guest soloist with this ensemble.

Opening of the Bourgie Concert Hall of the Montréal Museum of Fine Arts


Jean-Sébastien Roy will take part in the special concerts for the opening of the Bourgie Concert Hall on October 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th, performing works of Bartok, Mathieu and Mendelssohn.
